RIU Naiboa snorkeling & travel agencies

I m going to RIU Naiboa in June.
I heard there s a snorkeling reef not far from the beach in front of the hotel. Is that true and is there a lot to see?
Are there some travel agencies around the hotel (out of the complex) to book some excursions?

Reef is too far out to get to from the beach, but their are lots of tour operators to be found in the lobby.
