Orange Phone Activation at the Airport

Would anyone know if there is an Orange rep at the Punta Cana airport or nearby where I can get an unlocked GSM phone activated? I'm comming in on a Saturday in April and then taking a taxi to Higuey and a bus to the capital so the resort areas won't help me. Also any idea as to the cost for a SIM card and activation? Thanks

There is no Orange rep at the airport that I am aware of. But your driver can stop at any orange store. The first is in Veron on the left side on the road to Higuey. There are more along the way. The cost for the simm card and a telephone number is 250 pesos (approx 7 usd). Then you can buy time for outgoing calls.
