Looking for afforable hotel for 2 nights in Punta Cana

Hello all,
My wife and I are coming down to Punta Cana for a wedding next week, and we'll be staying at Gran Bahia Principe Ambar for 4 nights, but we need a very affordable and hopefully non-touristy more authentic place to stay Aug 13th and check out Aug 15th before we check into the Gran Bahia.

Anything close to Gran Bahia Principe Ambar would be preferable. Is there anything in the area less than $100/night? We don't care how nice it is... we're well traveled!
