Tips for a first-timer staying at Bahia Principe?

Seems like so much knowledge here so welcome any suggestions...
Headed to DR Bahia Principe for a "girls vacay" on April 22...group is mid-late 30's looking for fun, sun, great night spots, shopping, etc...We are open to any suggestions for what to pack, where to go or tips in how to make sure it's a great time!

Bahia Principe very nice hotel, Be sure to get out on some trips i.e Saona Island, caribbean festival. But for sure you have to catch the Circus of Dreams show on a thursday night...lots of gorgeous muscly men in Lycra!! But one of them is mine so feel free to look but dont touch ha ha!

Try and go to Mangu the disco at hotel occidental Flamenco a 10 min cab ride from Bahia Principe.
