I am just looking to find some information on fishing charters for kids. My six year old son wants to go fishing while in Punta Cana this Aug, and I don't want him to go deep sea fishing. So I was wondering if there was any other form of fishing charter he could do. Basically looking for activites besides those in the resort.
depending on what resort you will stay i would recommend you check with the resort, they often have small speed boats with a skipper available and rent you that for a couple hours to fish along the reef and flats near the hotel.
always bring you own fishing tackle, no shop around to rent such.

Oh NO so I should bring his fishing pole packing that will be no fun...Please explain why..
b/c there's no tackle shop to rent such in Punta Cana.
and those lil telescope rods and their reel for the lil one really do not weight for the luggage or take space.
