Need advice and recommendations please.......

Hi,

I need a lazy vacation and I found some deals to Punta Cana for two hotels which one? I usually go to POP so I'm not sure about the hotels in PC. Last time I went to PC I believe was in 2000.

Deals I found for these two hotels:
1. Sirenis Tropical
2. Occidental Grand

I did a search but didn't find any recent posts on the Sirenis hotel. I read the Occidental was on a nice stretch of beach.

On another note, any recommendations for a nice place to eat a dominican meal?

What are the good Clubs, I want to hear Merengue, Bachata.

I want to book today, help please!

Since you are planning to go out of the resort to eat, I would likely suggest Occidental as it is walking distance to the plaza.

This hotel used to have a great reputation but I havent heard anything recent myself.

We stayed at RIU Naiboa years ago, it was average at best but you can use facilities at some the other RIU's (some exclusions I recall). This one does have a disco on site if that helps.

Sirenis is far from the main drag so to speak.

Clubs...cant comment, not my thing.

between those 2, no way to compare. I will go with Occidental Grand.
Sirenis is in Uvero Alto, far from everything.
Occidental is in the heart of Bavaro. Mangu club is on site.
