Default Congratulations to the Dominican People

The Dominican People have chosen to change things in their country by a huge democratic vote. Bravo!

They, fortunately, have realized that it cannot be that the present regime is continuing to be at the helms of a beautiful country with tremendous resources of wonderful human, earth and other capital,...letting the Peso drop by 60% against major currencies, letting people drown on boats on the sea trying to get away from this miserable and declining employment and entrepreneurial situation while the other ones staying behind have to cope with inflation, upbringing of their children in a difficult and expensive school system, faulty electric supply, and, and, and.....

If the old league did not succeed (one cannot blame everything on 9/11 in NYC, Irak, Afghanistan and the global consequences) changes may only be achieved by changes in the leadership. Even if the new one is an old one..... One has to stop and try something else.

The hard working Dominican Community in Switzerland (providing their relatives in Santo Doming, in Santiago and in many other cities with substantial funds from their work abroad) is very happy about the outcome of the elections. They have been partying quite a bit.

Everyone overhere hopes things will be getting better in your country with the new leadership.

From Switzerland: Best wishes to Republica Dominicana!
