Yes but the job is not for an airline, rather really a charter company with a small 5 passanger twin engine aircraft (Seneca V).

Thus the pay is probably 5000 pesos per month. Considering most pilots of commuter airlines (like Northwest Airlink) make only $1700 US per month, it sounds about right considering the DR.

Crappy pay, but hey at least you will not be shoveling snow and the chica's are much more beautiful than the thunder heifers...

I highly doubt it as minimum wage in the DR is around RD$5000 month. Maybe RD$5000 per quincenta. Even that is unlikely. The most logical is that a typo was made leaving out a zero.
