Default Inquiry about Teaching English

Hello I am new to this site but can anyone tell me what all you need in order to teach english in the Dominican? Or where to search for jobs in relation to teaching. thanks

You are on the right website, check out the classified section at the bottom of the page. There are teaching positions advertised there. Also there is a website called aldaba-Bolsa de Trabajo which lists a few teaching jobs. Aldaba will give you an idea of the salary you can expect. You will need to understand Spanish to use that site.

You need to know to call it the Dominican Republic firstly. Secondly, lots of information right here on this forum. Do some homework first.

An ability to write the language you wish to teach in a grammatically correct fashion would be a good start.

thank you to those of you with helpful information it's appreciated! to the others that seem to have to much time on their hands i do know what to call the country and was in a hurry so i thought a quick post couldn't hurt!

Hey Dubby,

I'm just coming in on the end of this conversation. I would like to know if it's possible to get a temporary teaching gig for about a month. I have teaching experience in California.
