If you're looking for a job here in the Dominican Republic, then you should probably stay away from teaching. The pay isn't very high here for that. The call center industry is proving to be one of the most lucrative positions these days. If you are interested and will be living around Santo Domingo, contact us at Rococo Investemnts. Ask for Luisana Perez. Zona franca San Isidro, Km. 17 Autopista San Isidro, Santo Domingo Este. 809-728-4500 X3022. Email: lperez@resultstel.com.

Default Job

I am also looking for a job in the Dominican Republic. I have been looking online and haven't had much luck. I just read the previous reply about the call centre job and would be interested in learning more about that. I have a three year college diploma in Business Management (Marketing) and have also completed university business courses (working toward a degree in business). I have lots of experience as an admin assistant, I have worked as a waitress, houskeeper, and the service/retail industry. I was also wondering if there are any jobs in Welding in the Dominican Republic if so do they pay well, I am from Canada and if you work as a welder you usually are paid well but how do the wages for this type of job work in DR? Any job leads would be greatly appreciated or if anyone could give me websites to job listings, I have done many searches and haven't really found much of anything by way of jobs.

Forget it! there are absolutely no good paying jobs in the DR, unless, of course, you know someone personally willing to hire you.... And if your efforts come to naught, and you find yourself in a desperate situation, I suggest standing on a corner of the park, downtown, with a large sign that reads in big bold letters, "I will work for food".

As far as the call center industry is concerned, we tend to be paying higher than most industries in the country.

The particular place where I work is Rococo Investments. We services several large clients, including USRobotics. We have more clients coming on board soon, but unfortunately I cannot divulge any specifics at this point.

We are hiring people with excellent English skills to work as front-line employees within our contact center. Just a work to all of you, Being native American does pull a lot of weight around here. Those who prove that they are leaders, move up very quickly.

If you are interested, please send your resume either to me at LSpen00@yahoo.com or Lperez@resultstel.com.

Please feel free to PM me if you would like any more information.
