Default Finding a job

Hey, I've got a question regarding employment. I'm in the hospitality field, I've done every job in the food and beverage division up to the Executive level, I love the Caribbean and would love to move to DR. My question is will it be difficult to find employment at the resorts if I don't speak spanish? And is housing plentiful? I'm from Southern Ca

I'm thankful for all you help

Default Hiring

I am from Southern California too, living now in the DR. I have lived in LA, Orange and SD counties but found my way here a little more than a year ago.

I am not in the hospitallity industry but I am hiring Customer Service personnel who can assist out customers in the US. We are located in San Pedro (between Santo Domingo and La Romana). If you are interested in living on the south coast let me know.

Send me a PM if you want more info.

Regards,
Jim

I'm not familiar with the area you
re speaking about but I'd like to know more about your business. I'm also a certified personal trainer and nutrition life coach.

At those levels you are best to go directly to the chain hotels with resorts here and go through the application and interview process. I will also send you a PM or email.

Hey, I will be moving to Santo Domingo September 3. I will be looking for a job once i get there. I have a solid customer service/sales background, certified TESOL and almost 9 years working with children with disibilites. I speak moderate Spanish(although i understand more than i can actually speak) I was wondering does anyone know any companies that hire english speaker or where is the best place to start looking? Thanks for any info!!

Smile Finding a Job in Nursing

Hello!

I am new to the forum as of today! My fiance, who is Dominican, and I are going to re-locate to Santiago, his home town.

I am a registered nurse, speak a small amount of Spanish and am currently studying it now. What are the job markets for those in the health field, particularly nurses?

Where do I look for part time work? I don't believe there are employment agencies per se in the DR or are there?

Any suggestions out there would be so appreciated! Thank you in advance!!!

Check the search function. This has been discussed a couple of times. From what I remember the pay is horrible.
