Default Good Employer opportunity

Hi everybody,
Me and my wife are looking to move to DR in about two years (wife was born there)...primarily in the Santiago region. I am 23 and have been in the U.S. Navy most of my adult life. I am looking for job opportunities in about two years. I have an impressive background in Public affairs and journalism. My best areas are working in video and video editing (Using Adobe Premiere and Avid) I am very good at desktop publishing (Using adobe PageMaker and indesign) I won a major navy award in 2003 for my newsletter design. Writing hard news stories and feature news stories. I also have extensive training in photojournalism and adobe PhotoShop. I know it sounds like I am tooting my own horn here but I have portfolios to back up my claims. I am willing to work in any field and here is where the opportunity comes in for employers...I get free college while I am still in the navy...and if an employer was interested in hiring me they could tell me what college courses to take to support the job and I would pay for them with my own tuition assistance. I can also work from the US if wanted while I am still in the Navy. If anyone is interested in me or knows someone who would be please let me know....I Absolutely love the DR and really want to get there permanently...for both me and my family...hope to hear from other people on here!
thank you for listening
Daniel

I cant say for certain but I doubt any employer could gauge their need for hiring 2 years ahead of time?
You dont mention either whether or not you speak Spanish which could be a pre-requisite.

Good luck in your pursuit though, hope it all works out for you and your wife.

In response to the reply, I do apologize for not stating that I speak basic spanish and read it alot better than I speak it but I am enrolled in a few spanish classes now and plan on taking as many as possible before actually getting to the DR...I plan on being nearly fluent when I get there.
Thank you
daniel
