The big four are your only option ( my take ) - my house is getting bigger and bigger in DR ( a 500M project very recently ) and I am trying to get a posting there - no chance, period! They begged me to go to Singapore, Tokyo or Hong Kong, yet they cannot send me there...go figure

Fluent in Spanish?

Familiar with DR tax and accounting laws?

Are you prepared to work for RD$30-40k (US$900-1200) per month?

I suggest you have a long hard think and spend lots of time reading everything in this website and especially in the forums.

Which big four? Are you sure there are four of the big four in the DR?

KPMG and that crowd are here. I suppose the others are here as well.

Do NOT even think of coming here if you are not fluent in Spanish and double book-keeping-> a highly specialized Dominican accounting system that comes with Windows I or II and sometimes even Me.

Such decisions require a ton of time and preparation.

Below you will see a gentlemen who wrote to DR1 looking for a Finance Managaer. Maybe you should give him a call:

I am trying to get some information on how to advertise a position for a Finance Manager we have open in Santo Domingo. Can you please tell me who should I address this to?

Thank you
