Default Thinking of Moving to DR

I have very basic Spanish, Masters in Psychology, 20 years experience in financial sales, 10 years experience teaching English to recent immigrants. Where does one start in there job search in DR? What kinds of jobs could I expect? Should I be learning spanish before I come? Help!!

I have sold investment products, insurance, mortgages. I worked with several large developers providing mortgage services for their buyers.
