Default English Speaking College Grad Looking for Work in the DR

To whomever reads this:

I am interested in learning more about finding employment / living in the Dominican Republic. I am a US citizen with a college degree from a top University in the United States. I was hoping to find some resources to help me in this pursuit, and was wondering if anyone can provide some direction. I speak some Spanish (I studied it extensively in high school / college), and I believe if immersed in the culture I would pick it up very quickly.

Any help is appreciated.

Regards,
James

Some more info on your interests and skills and orientations would be of help.

Meanwhile, of a friendly curioucity, James, what is the reason that you do not want to stay in the beautiful highly developed and industrialized free and democratic super power and decided to go to a underdeveloped and underserved and shamefully corrupted (commonly aknowleaged fact) banana republic? If it is not a secret or too private matter of course.

Climate and weather in Florida for instance is the same, if not better.

Planner,
I sent you a Private Message a second asking for an email address to send my resume to. Thanks for reading my response.

AK74,
I have spent my entire life in the United States, so why not try something else (I was actually born in Germany, but I am a US Citizen). I have always wanted to live abroad, and tropical destinations have intrigued me since I started scuba diving at age 14. I like adventures.

In terms of my skills, I have a degree in marketing and I currently work for a recruiting company. I am a very quick learner, and I would be open to a number of different types of employment. If you know of anything or have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.

James
