Default Work Question

I'm considering moving to the Dominican Republic in the near future, my question is

I'm a 22 year old male, from Canada, fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking) what types of jobs would be available to a person like myself?

Someone once told me working in a resort is my best option.

Thanks in advance

1. What academic and business qualifications do you have?
2. Can you speak Spanish and if so to what level?
3. Where do you want to move to in DR ? it is a big country.
4. Have you been here before?
5. Is there a lady involved?

I have 4 years of college with a diploma in Social Work.

I can speak very very little Spanish but would most definitely learn more before I move.

I don't know exactly where I would move.

Yes I've been to the dr before in Punta Cana

No lady involved..why does that matter?

Proba bly call centre work then. Pays around 700 us$ a month so you will struggle a bit.
I can't see resort work being an option.

Diving instructor would pay more but usually you would need more than one language.
