Unicef is looking for an Emergencies Officer. The officer would coordinate, plan and monitor Unicef disaster prevention, preparedness and response activities in close coordination with other UN agencies, partners and allies and under the framework of the humanitarian reform.
Qualifications: An advanced degree in social sciences or in other related field; at least three years of progressively responsible experience in program formulation, planning, management, and evaluation, some of which should be in emergency program management and operations. Knowledge of UN or international procedures related to security in the field. Spanish. Fluency in English (written and oral). French an asset.
