I am looking at coming to the Dominican Republic for about a year,
and was wondering what kind of work would be available for me.
I'm 18 am not very fluent in Spanish. Are there places like for tourists
that would need english speaking people in santo domingo?
You might be able to get a job in a tourist type bar during high season. It will pay very little and getting such a job is generally based upon if you show up at the right time. This type of job would be available in a tourist area, not necessarily in Santo Domingo.
Another opportunity could be at a call center. Expect low pay regardless.
