Default best pay for call center job

Hi everyone. Not long ago i decided to find a job in a call center, and was amazed by how little they pay!!! I can't belive that a foreigner who speaks 2 and more languages will work for 110 pesos/h. So i still hoping that may be someone can indicate me the call center with the decent payment. Thanks a lot.

Why work at a call center when you can work for yourself ?

If you really are good on the phone then you can do this at home.

If money or experience is an issue, then work at a call center, save your Pesos, Bite The Bullet and maybe one day you can open your own call center and laugh all the way to the bank.

Did I just Respond to Someone that will work for $4 per hour?

Why not , If he or she is any good I will pay them $5 per hour.

Just kidding, I pay more than that!

I think 110 pesos per hour is a good wage over here.
I'm serious, just ask the ex-pats who work in bars what they get for a 8-9 hour shift.
Receptionists with 5 languages working in hotels earn even less.
Even for skilled work i.e. electrician/builder/plumber... very few charge over 1000 pesos per day.

At the reception they speak one language (Spanish mostly) and know 10 most frequently used phrases in English and French (personal experience.). Without any offense but I dont call it "speak the language".

Any way if anyone knows a call center which pays minimum 200-300 pesos/h, please let me know.

I have some european friends who work in a call center in santiago... 14-16000 pesos per month and they were hired because of excellent English skills. their co-workers are mostly deportees from the u.s. for the same reason - English skills.

I don't send proposals, better yet explain why you are qualified to work from home...in the DR.

Do you have high speed internet...24/7 power / barking dogs / children / Chicas / Sankie Trouble... the list goes on and on!

With this economy I only hire people in the U.S.

But if you are good I will pay $6 per hour if you meet all of my requirements

I may be able to offer you a more competitive salary.

Do you have your Residency and are you legal to work in DR?
