British native-what are my chances?

Hi to all from London, UK.

I'm a British native with a Trinity TESOL cert. 18 months ESL teaching experience in south east Asia. NO degree. Aged 29 years. (And not in it for the money, but some would be nice of course!)

Please please please! I would like some advise and information on my chances teaching ESL in DR.

Excuse my ignorance but would I be right in assuming that ESL is english as a second language? You could try the international school of sosua
International School Sosua - Working Together to Give our Children the Best Education
My nieghbour teaches there and it's a great school. Probably shut for summer now though!

The Instituto Cultural Dominico-Americano in Sto. Dgo. is a good option. They hire individuals even w/o degrees, but who are able to teach ESL-EFL.
