Scott, practicing for your Wendy's commercial, or just worried about the potential competition for your blog?
Actually we have a couple more entries lined up, and I had one posted already, when it was pointed out to me by team members that it being just before Thanksgiving and DR1 board traffic might be light, I might want to hold off for 24-28 hours to give time for people to see and digest the opening.
BTW, anything you'd like to suggest we tackle? Given your travels and the keen powers of observation I note in your own blog, there must be some things you think would be worth exploring by the Green Team? If you don't want to go into them here, PM or email me or greenteam@dr1.com. All input much appreciated.
Regards,
Keith

Thanks, Anna. Hope you'll be a regular Green Team blog reader, and maybe throw us some suggestions at times.
But nothing about "greening" sankies, thank you! They get enough "green" at Western Union every week. [Sorry, couldn't resist.]

Keith not too many people in the world recycle like the people of Guelph, I'll have to write about it when you get the comment thingy fixed.

Ok, look forward to it, especially if it has some lessons we can use in the DR.
I remember Guelph as pretty clean, and I still have the pics I took of the separated trash/recyclables bins at the city park when we visited you. They're among what my family jokingly refer to (with eyes rolling) my large collection of "trash pics" -- pictures of litter, recycling bins, landfills, etc. from around the world. What can I say? I write and speak so much about waste and recycling policy, I have to something for those books, articles and Powerpoint presentations!
Un abrazo,
Keith

I won't know what your point or object is until I see something about anything that is concrete. I look forward to reading what you are doing but I have NO clue what it is yet other than arguing about colors
Please post here when you update so I can check it out. The drum roll is starting to fade.
By the way people read more than one bit at a time. People that haven't been on my blog for a few days will read back to where they last read before they blast off.
Competition? Heck you may bring more people to the blogging page list and give more readers to the others if you do a good job.

Hmm, a bit grouchy, Scott. I would have thought that given the timestamp on your post as either bring during or just after the legendary Thansgiving party in Sosua, that you'd be in a better mood...
I think the intro entry on the blog itself explains exactly what the point or object is. Seeing how it is implemented in practice is another thing, of course, but this is just the intro.
As I said before, this is a team effort, not a solo effort like your blog, or Amity's or Chiri's or pretty much any of the others I see on DR1. By definition a different animal to manage, not as quick and agile as a do-it-yourself job. So it give a real chance.
Oh, well. Thanks anyway for your input...
