Default Making Solar Cells from computer chip technology

New York Times , Friday April 14, 2006.

Article on Cypress chip maker owning SunPower who develops and sells Solar panels.

Jist is, 31% annual growth, at todays oil prices. >17% efficient solar cell. Making statements now that they give 30-40 year warranty.

Drought for chips will end in 2008. Prices should drop.

But, to keep prices high now, 'spin doctors' are out there saying that maintaining the 700 tons of 'sand' to produce the quantities needed to decrease prices is going to be hard to find. Please.....
