cabarete environment related employment??
Hi, I will be living in Cabarete for the summer and i am looking for oportunities to work in something related to the environment whether it be conservation, creating awareness, ecotourism, or whatever. I would prefer something hands on, im just not sure what kind of oportunities exist. Anyone have any ideas??
I was in Cabarete last spring and I took surf lessons out at playa encuentro and the guy who picked me up was telling my about a coral conservation/restoration project that was going on in the area and i was really excited when he told me i could help out with it although im not sure what it would entail. unfortunately i was studying in santiago at the time and was to far to be there often enough to help. It would be amazing to work on this if anyone knows anything about it but other oportunities or the sort would be awesome as well. the guy i was talking to i know was the dad of my surf instructor named rene, if that helps at all.
