Default Salt Chlorinators

Anyone have any experience with pool salt chlorinators in the Dominican Republic?

Looking for information on a Pent-air IntelliChlor Salt Chlorinator or alternative.

I have one and it works perfect. You only need to balance your PH once a week and add salt once in a while when it drops too low. The amount of salt that you will need initially is substantial, even fo ra small pool.

it comes from the US. the box is about 25X25 cm (fits in a suitcase) and cost $600 plus shiping to a US address.

the brand is Aquarite. it works for any size of pool as the quantity of salt matters, not the machine. Again, if your pool is large, get ready to carry a lot of 50 pounds bags of salt. The salt must also be pure.
