Trash solution for Cabarete and Sosua

I'm delighted to annouce that a generous anonymous donor has just pledged 10,000 Pesos for our cleaning project.

I am matching thier kind donation and now we have 20,000 Pesos to start up.

Come on people this is enough to clean a couple of beaches and we need your support.

Does NOT need to be in the form of money:

1. Do you know someone in the Sosua/Cabarete local government that could help us?

2. Do you live in an area where others have expressed concern over the trash issues?

3. Do you have suggestions for the first clean up site?

4. Do you just want to kill me for writing these posts?

Nothing brilliant, except to mention that I still believe that stopping people from littering is a lot more productive than just cleaning up behind them.
That being said, Jackieboo is trying to do something about the problem, and that's commendable.
It's a lot more than most people who just sit around talking about it.
Even if I don't agree with him on how to go about it, I admire the heck out of him for being a "do-er".
