I was going to say something along the line of: I've seen more public information on this than you will ever find about many of the projects Jimenez is involved, even of some which raise obvious conflict of interest questions..

Bienvenidos al Hoy Digital

P.S. The World Bank is guaranteeing a great part of the finance.

It's an interesting number... equals about USD 1.2 per Watt... still cheaper than photo-voltaic, and about third of what most commercially sold "home"-installations will cost once installed and all...

So...you put the rest on the spot market.
The problem remains in the renewable energy laws of the DR. There are none.
The way it works elsewhere, if you are GREEN, say a windfarm, your energy has preference on the spot market than that of a coal or fuel burning source (as in a government coal plant from China).

I meant is as a perspective on its size.

that why I really like the following:

• Build 53 km of overhead power line connecting the project to the national power grid (SENI1);

• Install an advanced monitoring and control system to monitor and control the electricity output
from the wind farm.
...
• The project will lead to the reduction of green house gas emissions compared to a business as
usual approach by an estimated 321,433 tCO2 per year;

• The project will serve as the first example of large-scale, grid-connected wind energy capacity
in the Dominican Republic, generate around368.4 GWh of green electricity per year;

• The project will contribute to promoting and developing the renewable energy sector in the Dominican Republic;

• The project will assist with applying new legislation aimed at stimulating the small to medium scale renewable projects in the country –The Renewable Energy Act (draft)2;
