Default 10 Dirtiest Cities

Bajos de Hiana made the list as one of Forbe's ten dirtiest cities in the world.

Default That Is For "LEAD" in the environment there.

They melt down lead car batteries there in open smelters.
Now you know why Dominicans are so "SMART"!
If they only looked at "Garbage" the DR would win all 10 cities!

Haina is actually listed 3rd worst in the world, behind only Chernobyl (rememeber the nuclear disaster?) and Dzerzhinsk, Russia, which has a death rate 2.6 times higher than the birth rate...eesh!!!

OK, where are all those posters looking for cheap DR real estate...I think there may be some deals to be found in Haina

you are a negative unhappy and miserable person and no matter where you live you'll always be like this. Everything you say, about the DR has always a sarcastic twist and a negative tone. Lighten up dude.

btw: you are the dirty one inside and out.

well wether cccccccc is likable or not, or leads a sorid life or not...doesnt change the fact that that city is a super fund site and is listed because of its outrageously poisoned enviroment...FROM lead batteries.

the fact that it is listed number three ona site of the most polluted in the WORLD should be a wake up call to all dominicans.....

dont let dirtbags sell your country to the devil , and then walk away and live someplace else with the riches, while you stay behind and live with their plunders. Wether they are dominican themselves or not.

I read about that site....not good....and it will be like that for a long time.

I just had to get that out of my system, he definitly enjoys the fish in the Dr but its always criticizing the people and the island.

but Bob I understand what you are saying, but if the government or the leaders allow this kinds of things to happen, because they are greedy and corrupt to the core, what can I do? I wish I could do something. You know what? Maybe there is something we can do especially if we live in the US. We could probably get involved in writing letters in reference to these environmental situations. I think that's something I'll look into to. Also if more Dominicans would write letters and get involved and organized, changes can happen.

Default Just The Response I Would EXPECT From A Dominican!

They can NEVER accept any form of Criticism directed at them personally,Which I Did Not Do, or their country as a whole! It's always,"You are a LIAR",or, That's not true here!",or,"It's WORSE everywhere else,or they "ShootThe Messenger"! Hell,"Leonel" recently blamed the US for the "Drug Problems" in the DR!. It's "THE HAITIANSFAULT" for just about EVERY ILL,that plagues this "Garbage Dump" of a country!!
"Nuff Said"!
Instead of attacking "Others" they should look inward for a change!
If you won't recognize the problem, you can NEVER fix it!

Where is the "Good" for the dominican children who are being "poisoned" by dominicans by "Melting down lead",and letting the residuals contaminate the land, water, and air,in wasting your time criticizing me???
It's just the "Dominican Way"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!
At least I am actually here, paying LOTS of taxes,(For the "Politicos" yepettas!) and trying to raise a few responsable, children who actually respect themselves, and their countrymen!
What the PHUCK are YOU doing???

And there you go again criticizing!!! You yourself are totally aplatanao, you are always whining about everything around you like we Dominicans do, so don't go saying "You Dominicans" 'cause you are one of us.

btw: you don't know how I contribute to the Dominican Republic so don't go ASSuming.
