Sadly, this is not really new news:

And if I could find it in the archives, I'd also point to a discussion I had with someone in these forums back in 1999 (or was it 98?) about newspaper coverage of the Haina lead poisoning case and the Health Ministry's claims that it was going to force immediate clean up....

They also had it on the news in Telemundo a few weeks ago.
