Helle to all. I will like to invete all DR1 members that are in the country currently to a Trip to Diego de Ocampo. :La sociedad ecologica del cibao has a nice complex in la Manacle in thep ico. We cna take a hick to the top of mountaing an make some contribution to the local comunity. I cna set up some real nice hicking trials. All for free just cover you food cost and the small fee we have to pay ofr the carta de ruta so we cna go i nto the protected area. Guias de ocampo and My self will help. any volunteers. Let set dates can some one start a list.

Chola1978, when is this trip taking place?. I'll be in Santiago next August. Love to go. Please post more info. I'll be in the Dr from 8/25 - 9/17.
BTW, I'm a Nature lover myself.
The main purpose of this trip is us the environment blog to get to know one another and contribute to this on going project in the mountain. we can coordinate for a two day weekend

let get a date going I visit this place pretty often. I am involve in this project some what.
How about September 1 and 2 we can get together at SOECI office at 7am on Saturday and come back Sunday late afternoon.
We have room for 50 to sleep over.
