From what I understand, even if there is a law here against this it wouldn't be enforced anyway!

('Course, Mars has been cooling, too, during the same period the earth has...)

I'm a "reasonable" man. Nothing personal until someone else initiates force...

Unfortunately dumping oil an your or your neighbor's property is going to affect both of you sooner or later .. no matter whose property the dumping is being done on. So, the principle of initiating 'force' is fast becoming truly hard to pin point. So, your SUV may be the straw that broke the camel's back and you have to face the rest of the rest of us proletariat type folks that have to eat your emissions/polutants.

(Yes, yes I know, it is the Chinese .. it is all their fault. (sic) ) The complete picture is fast becoming unreasonable and does not fit to a pre-determined philosophical ideal. Dammit! it was suppose to.

Chris, I breath the same air you do. And, no, I certainly don't advocate dumping oil on anyone's property.

If one has no core belief's, than what do they use for a guiding force in their lives? The prevailing orthodoxy? Tea leaves? A talking head? A Feel-Good guru?

A person can only truly control themselves, and can only hope to affect the behavior of those within their sphere of influence. Pontificating on a message board is like peeing in a pair of dark wool pants: you may feel all warm and fuzzy, but nobody else sees the results...
