Forgot to tell you, leekiv. Pop quiz every week, each 10% of your final grade here in Plant Lore 101 at DR1 Eco-U.

Default New plant post

New plant:

This plant is also widely distibuted in the DR.

It has just finished it's flowering stage and I have pruned it heavily. There were many little burgandy globes/ seeds (?) that extended off of one independent stem. At a closer look you can see the last flowers at upper right hand side.
Anyone know what this is?

its a type of codiaeum Variegatum - commonly called josephs coat because of the variety of colours in the young leaves- cuttings grow well in wet weather by just sticking the branches in the soil as far as they will go

Great John! Good info. We have many little cuttings here, from my pruning efforts. When do you plan on coming to the DR?

This is a gardeners paradise...among other things.
I have a special "Italian" geranium, snuck in from Milano that has been propagated many times. Maybe the only type here in the country. The mother stock was over 40ft. tall.
Want to do some trading?
