Default Can somebody identify this cereal

Hello,
I have made a trip down to Pedernales in January, and came across fields of this cereal, or whatever it is, near Oviedo.
Can anybody identify it, please?

What is it?

Thank You

David

Thanks, I think you hit the nail on the head. I checked it on the web, and I think that it is definitely sorghum.

Cassava (yuca) also contains cyanide, as do several other common foods.
