Default Was Sto. Dgo a better city in the 80's?

Don't get me wrong we have made many improvements in infrastructures but I think the city was better in the 80's for the following reasons:

-I probably belong to the last generation that was able to swim in Guivia and in Manresa. It was really good to go there when it was hot. Now is too contaminated.

-I was able to enjoy the manoguayabo River when it had a lot of water.

- I remember the city was good to get fruits inside the city. Good locations were to get mangos at the 27 february Ave. and There were good mangos in avenue that I forgot the name but the avenue is located between Los Alcarrizos and Herrera.

What do you think?
