Default Names of national parks changing?

I have just been looking at the latest UN data on protected areas which came out a few weeks ago, and the usual confusion over Dominican protected areas continues. Usually the dates of establishment and the size and borders are pretty confusing and contradictory, but this year's data indicates that a bunch of protected areas have changed their names (beyond the usual is it Valle Nuevo or is it Rancier confusion). Armando Bermudez now seems to be called J.P. Duarte, and a bunch of others have changed their names. Anyone know what is going on?
