Unhappy Warning Sago Palms are deadly piosonous

I was surprised to find out that the very common Sago palm (Cica Revolta) is deadly poisonous to pets and people. The plant contains traces of cyanide that are particularly concentrated in the seeds. So if your pet dropped dead one day and you dont know why check if they had munched on a cycad. They are very common and most gardens in SD and the tourists towns have them.

Yes - well known that the flowers and seeds are particularly bad - most dogs ignore them though.

Raw eggs? I've been told by vets many a time to put a raw egg in their food once a week, to keep their coat shiny..

I guess now I'm going to have to tell our dog to quit eating the Avocado seeds.

Default what does his/her coat look like

Raw Eggs:

Contain an enzyme called avidin, which decreases the absorption of biotin (a B vitamin). This can lead to skin and hair coat problems. Raw eggs may also contain Salmonella.
