The Limpkin

i have read that this is supposed to be a rare bird so im wondering what five of them are doing strutting and squawking round my garden

I thought i saw a few of these hanging by the feet in a chinatown window and looked mighty tastey

I don't think the Limpkin is on the endangered list...now the Ridgway's Hawk is only found here in the DR and in Los Haitises National Park...extremely rare bird of prey

Yep, it watched us for about 2 hours, it is a Juvenile Night Heron.
