There exists a CD with a lot of little kids songs in Spanish. Among others are: La Vaca Lola; Hola Don Pepito; La Gallina Turulsca; Cumpleano Feliz; En un Bosco. They are played pretty constantly in two toy shops in the Naco area on Av. Tiradientes. Sadly they won't sell me a copy - they say they haven't any nor will they tell the manufacturer and disc number. I've tried Amazon and others but no joy. If anybody can identify it for me or even better tell me where to get a copy the whole family will be very grateful.

Remembering that the Helen Kelllog Library here in Santo Domingo used to have odd hours. Does anyone know what the hours of operation are currently. And what the membership fee is?

I have been remiss and not been there for a few years(since my kids got or of school, and Anthony was still around). Well guess more than just a few.

I believe they are open on Sunday Mornings.

And I assume that they still have the book sales the first Saturday of each month?

Having the service hours would be helpfull.

Anni or Anybody. Also I believe they need the Advertisement

Sosua Fishermen often sell their "Catch of the Day" locally in the streets.

I was surprised by the lack of Dolphin this year but reef fishing is yielding Red and Yellow Tail Snapper lately.

I am curious what people are paying as I seem to think the mongers calculaters have seen too much sun!

Suppose, I wanted to buy a property in the DR...

First question... my money is still located in a European country.... how do I get a large amount of money transferred to the DR...

Second question... and I know I may sound like a lot of ignorant fools, moving over here... what are the duties I have to pay to the DR government when buying a house over here? Everyone here says there are none... but somehow I doubt this... and what if I just buy a piece of land and build a house?...

Please enlighten me... lol

Just so everyone knows - this is Spiced's other half - I don't normally post, but I think this is funny. No names involved, and not dissing anyone , and NOT trying to sell anything - just laughing. Spiced PM'd someone recently, who was looking for an external monitor for a laptop. And we have same for sale. PM's back and forth - model #, size, technical specs, etc were provided. - especially the fact that this was a 17", flat-screen Dell monitor. She takes the monitor and meets the buyer - who says " gee - I didn't realize it was this small "

What color was that blue car that just passed me ?

I'm still laughing.
