When Rob deleted TW's thread....it was termed a "waste of bandwidth".....it got me thinking.....is there anything on th "Open Forum" that ISN"T a waste of bandwidth?...what is my point....i don't know....oh...wait a minute ....i found one....its this ...Golo....you know everyone wants you to post again...we're waiting....and to make it safe, I'd like to request a restraining order on Rob's "delete" key

Actually, I think you will find the thread was closed, not deleted.

The same rules apply to all. When it gets personal or very childish, then I consider it a waste of bandwidth and DR1 $$$. This is when threads get closed and on vary rare occasions these days, posts deleted.

How much does dr1.com save by being censored as opposed to how much it loses by being censored.?

IMHO, censoring anything but hard core porn is the beginning of the end of Democracy.

Mongonguito: I think that that thread got closed because it had turned into a ****ing contest between Drtechie and TW over who had what car, how much money and other infantile things.
And it certainly wan not helping the page or imparting any information.
I don't like censorship either, but when the ridi turns on, it's better to hit the hwy...

You got the wrong person HB. Go back to the post and you will see that I only posted a picture of my car and a few replies to Suarez. Hell I even posted a ridiculous picture to liven up the mood...what's the crime in that?

The big ****ing contest was between TW and Suarezn...you can go and check that as well. I suppose you're going to blame the first "picture gallery" closing on me but I'll just leave it at that before I turn this into a ****ing contest!!!

Rob...my post was somewhat tongue-in-cheek....even a dufus like myself can figure out that who pays the bills...now, if only the wife could come to the same conclusion...hmmm....not likely......guess i'm back on the couch tonite...which in-and-of-itself is not so bad since I am that much closer to the DOVE Chocolate Bars in the freezer.
