Default Fifth Disease

My niece recently came down with this virus here in Calgary...I'd never heard of it. Now a friend in Montreal tells me her son has it, as well. Here is a link to it, fyi if your children start to have symptoms.

Talking DISEASES of KIDS

Trina,

The bottom line is that in the overwhelming number of cases, it runs it's course and goes away.

Just another "Kids Thing"

Default not just kids!

i had fifth desease a few years ago, when you get this as an adult it is extremely painful. it started with a rash on my lower legs, crept all the way up my body, and then came the trouble with my joints.... all of my joints swelled up like crazy, was in so much pain could hardly get out of bed!! it lasted about a week!
wouldn't wish this on anyone!!! not just a childhood illness...

Unhappy ADULTS vs KIDS

Lucy,

For some reason, when adults get a "Kids Disease" it's usually MUCH worse than in a child.

Mumps and Chicken Pox are really bad in adults.
