How do I chat?

This might sound like a really stupid question, but I can't figure out how to chat on this site. I click the little chat box and get only a blank screen. Is there some secret that only the gold members know? Please help me, I would really love to join a chat!

look up and hit the tab with your mouse that says "CHAT"

Pretty simple huh?

My problem is that I HAVE clicked the little chat box and it does nothing. I may be slow, but I am not stupid! Thanks for trying to help!

I have occasionally seen a blank page come up. It usually goes away after a try or too.

What machine and version of Browser are you running on?
