Steroids DO NOT hit homeruns. A combination of bat speed, timing and, in some cases, hip action, is what it takes.

Not totally right. There were not six consecutive walks. There were 5 in the inning, by two different pitchers, accompanied by a double and an error.

However, I completely agree with your premise. I wouldn't bet a lousy peso on this league.

IMHO, steroids do contribute to the homerun totals, but only a small amount.

Hitting a round ball, with a round bat is the hardest thing to do in sports. Strength has absolutely nothing to do with how far a ball goes, bat speed does.

Bat speed is more a result of practicing that swing thousands upon thousands of times, not how big your arms are.
