On May 26, 2005 the US Government issued a new travel warning for the nation of Haiti. It has ordered all non-essential employees and employees/diplomats' families out of the country. The embassy has even instituted a curfew from 2100hrs to 0500hrs for its staff. All Americans are urged not to travel there and those who are there should vacate the country forthwith.
