What is Vladimir Guerrero eating in the outfield?

Every time I watch an Angel's game, I see Vladdy eating something that I assume is a Dominican snack of some kind. It is small, white and round, and leaves a big old mess of white debris in the outfield.
If anyone knows what the heck this is, I would appreciate the info! (It looks tasty...) Gracias.

Maybe pumpkin?

There is a huge mess in RF at Anaheim, clearly noticeable from that side of the field.

Could be... Many of the baseball players eat sunflower seeds during games... I wonder why.

Well...I've been able to sit pretty close to where he stands in RF, and the debris that he leaves looks way too big and white to be pumpkin or sunflower seeds. Vamos a ver. Maybe its a fruit of some kind? Who knows.
