Default Puerto Plata aerial photo

I took this photo in Dec of 2003 while on board AA 833 from NY to STI.

I have two questions regarding this photograph.

1. What is this massive unocupied piece of land?
2. Is this near Torre Alta (it seems like it)?

It does appear to be Torre Alta. If you go on Google Earth you can pull up the same location at 19 degrees 46'35.49"N X 70 Degrees 41'31.72"W. The area you have circled is West and South of the traffic circle (at the Stadium) on the main road.

I believe that is Torre Alta, since you took that photo a lot of developement has happened in that area. It is no longer empty!

Okie dokie. So my asumptions were correct. That should be Torre Alta arriba (the upper part).
