Newly crowned US basketball champ vacationing in DR

Billy Donovan, originally from Long Island, NY, is the winning coach in the NCAA men's basketball championship. One of his Florida players, Tito Horford, has Dominican roots, so maybe that's why the Donovan family is heading to the DR for a family celebration...

NY Times reports:

Over the next 10 days, it could be difficult for anyone to get an appointment with Donovan. He is speaking Wednesday at Marshall University, where he got his first head-coaching job. On Friday, there will be a victory party in Gainesville, Fla. Then he is going to the Dominican Republic for a week to celebrate his father-in-law’s 70th birthday.

not Tito but Al Horford, Tito is his dad . Al made his HS in Puerto Plata.
