Help on best phone connection...

hello, i currently reside in pennsylvania, and i call my girl friend every night and she lives in santiago, DR.....problem is i'm spending WAYYY too much money on my phone cards... does anyone know any cheap or cheaper that i could get.... i'm paying 10 cents per minute. (300 minutes for 30$).. please help i can't afford what i'm shelling out now... thanks!

are you calling to a landline or to a cell?

What about skype, or skypeout if she hasn't got an internet connection?

I have tried several calling cards but Enjoy Prepaid seems to work for me. The Emerald Plan is 6 cents per minute landline-landline. Caution, there is a $2 fee if your recharge is less than $40.

I agree with Chirimoya, if both of you have Skype and an internet connection the call is FREE. Even with a webcam it is still free. OH, and Skype is also free.

Also, look into voicestick.com

I think its 7 cents a minute to a landline and they have a neat feature called ibridge, whcih allows you to call from your cell for the same rate.
