sigle de oro is supposed to be the best ron by brugal - a blend of aged batches with recipe known to few people only. as all good spirits it's supposed to be drank in room temperature to savour the taste.
the price for a blue bottle is 1.300 pesos (more or less) and i hear it's worth it.
they also have a red bottle - brugal unico - but it's more of a liqueur.

Did quick search to no avail. Anyone know if this is exported to the US? Can anyone make a comparison between Single de Oro and Ron Zacapa Centenario?

Cheers,
Sollie

If I told you the name of the best rum of the DR, there's no way you would be able to get your hands on a bottle...
So why add that misery onto you?

Here's a hint:

You can't get a bottle of it, because it's still held in the barrel for the few that get to taste mana del cielo...

Right off in Pueblo Nuevo's Bodegas...

I like brugal extra viejo, but can't honestly say that I've ever tried barcelo. Might have to check it out when I'm there in 2 months.
