AZB: how is claro comparing with orange now? Still better? Do you have internet on your phone yet?

i have a simple phone, i do have internet capabilities but I only use my cell as a phone. I think orange has better service than claro at the moment. Claro signed up a ton of people with the GSM technology yet they just didn't have the infrastructure to support the load.

The key phrase is - at the moment. That can change at any time. And is very dependent on your location.

I get the Call Failed message constantly. Then for no reason, my phone goes on Emergency Calls Only or No Service. I often have to shut it off and turn it back on. No it isn't the phone, had it checked and it is new.

It is frustrating.....

I have used them all and currently the most dependable is clearly Centennial which is now VIVA. Some spots east of Cabarete are not covered yet, but for the PP area no problems with signals of any kind.
