Summer Bbq Many Thanks!

HEY ALL, my wife and I would like to formally thank and appreciate everyone from dr1 that made it out to this annual event and helped out in every way possible to make this a SUCCESS! FYI, I do not have an official head count as of yet....but I will say that we counted the number of cars that were parked in at or around my front lawn and vecinity and there were 35...so the actual number of people that attended will easily double that!
THANK YOU ALL for coming and please forgive us for the unfortunate scuffle that broke out, FYI that was squashed and taken care of quickly. I hope that didn't scare anyone, apologies to anyone that this may have upset and or children that may have been scared, my wife and I are truly sorry and want to put that behind us....asides from that we both hope that everyone enjoyed themselves!
FORGIVE ME if I looked like I was confused and or overwhelmed. The number of people was so great and hard to handle....must be how happy I was to see the turnout. I apologize because as a host I want to give everyone their due attention and if I didnt spend as much or any time with my guests please do not take it personal, I tried to do what I could to keep everyone happy....I AM HAPPY, I hope you all are as well

laurapasinifan for being generous and helping out with the tarps and chairs, this year's BBQ got rave reviews for that so hats off to you my friend, also come by anytime you are down the way literally!
Berzin, firstly for the cheesecake! people did eat some and i had some later that night as my post midnight snack! the strawberry swirl was a big hit! and of course for the photos that I am dying to see! I hope you took a lot and would love to hang out again soon!
jeanmarie, all the way from Danbury, CT for the cheese! we had another round of burgers going real late that night! LOL and for bringing your children! they are beautiful and I hope they had a good time. your little girl is good with the soccer ball! I was VERY IMPRESSED!

hope to read more reviews in the days to come! Our home is open to our friends so you are all welcome! Hope to see everyone soon!

LOL as you saw it didn't scare us away, we stayed put watching from afar but your relatives were out of there very quickly......but it was all good, I had a nice time talking to everyone........thanks again Jaime for the invitation and opening your beautiful house to us, I love your carpet nice and soft

hey guys, yes the scuffle was stupid stuff that happens when too much alcohol is consumed...i have to keep a close eye on that next time and make sure we do not have troublemakers come around....in any case, the real troopers did stick it out.
hey M.A.R. my wife's family left because of the kids really, stuff like that shouldnt damper a BBQ like this, but rather than be put in danger and or want to avoid problems they decided to call it a day. no big deal, we still had good numbers and LOTS of food! glad you were a part of it!

bronxboy [miguelito] my buddy Gerb says whatup, he was the one you kept bugging over the freestyling! he hopes to continue to step to the challenege anytime! LOL

LOL kind of amusing that when you finally got that whole caravan movin' on down the road and came back around to the back yard there were us DR1er's still planted there like hedges with beverages in hand...like it just never even ocurred to follow suit

seriously though THANKS again from me & my kids...

You know what Jaime? If you hadn't brought that little scuffle up it would not of appeared on this site.

Not one person from our group made a big thing out of it because it wasn't.

As you can see from the posts, every comment is positive. We realize the effort that you and your wife put into the event and we respect and appreciate it.

To tell you the truth, I thought the worst part of the BBQ was when they let me butcher the beautiful game of dominoes!!! I had NO IDEA what I was doing!!!

I should of been the one being escorted off the premises for my horrendous performance!!!
