Default AAARRGGGHHHH!!!! Reading posts..

Rob, is there anyway you can extend the quantity of time before searches are terminated(Not sure if I said that right)

Everytime I sign on, I do a search for new posts. Typically, I'll get somewhere between 100 and 200 new post, which means there are from 4 to 8 pages of posts to read.

I'll read the interesting posts on the first page, then the ones on the second page.. etc. etc.

By the time I get to the 6th or 7th page, when I click on the next page, I'm told my search has expired, or my search did not produce any results, or something to that effect.

Have you ever thought about extending the time one has to read posts before they get this response??

JD,
As an alternative, when you first do your search for new posts.... go on down to the bottom, right click on each page #, and choose open in new window (or new tab depending on your browser). Then you'll have each page listing the new posts loaded and available to read at your leisure.

I have upped the session time out from 2700 seconds (45 min) to 3600 seconds (60 min). My guess is that an hour should be enough to read new posts. If not, your just have to login more often

How easy it is to overlook the obvious.

Funnier still is that I do that already with all the posts on each page, so I've always got a bunch of tabs open.

It never occurred to me to do the same with the pages.

Thanks for the tip.

Rob, what's the advantage of limiting the time? I understand I can log in more frequently, but if I log in and search for new posts, then log in an hour later and search for new posts, all the new posts from the hour before are gone.
